The 2011 Infrastructure Systems Conference will be held 13 - 17 June in Atlanta at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
The conference organizers are committed to ensuring that this conference contributes to achieving three primary goals:
- Enhancement of National Technical Competence
- Commitment to Quality
- Commitment to Meeting the Needs of the Army and the Nation
The theme of the 2011 Infrastructure Systems Conference is: "Quality Design and Construction for a Stronger Future." This theme was chosen to highlight the Corps' commitment to ensuring the highest possible quality in all projects designed and constructed by the Corps.
Technical engineering capability has been and will always be the heart of USACE. For more than 200 years, the Corps has demonstrated this capability in a variety of military and civil works projects. This conference is one important step to build our technical competence and to continue our tradition as a learning organization to ensure that we are prepared to meet the current and future engineering and construction needs of the nation.
The conference provides an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and share technical knowledge within the Engineering and Construction [E&C] Community as a "learning organization."
